BlackBerry Thinking About Releasing Mid-Range Android Device in 2016

In a recent interview with Bloomberg, the CEO of BlackBerry was asked if they are considering a mid-range smartphone with Android as a follow up to the Priv. John Chen says they are still gauging the response to the Priv and they’ll be releasing the device in 31 more markets over the next 3 months. If they are happy with the outcome, then one may be planned for 2016.

Iven News Reader Updated to v7.0.1 with Ability to Add Custom Feeds and a New Home UI

We’ve featured Iven News Reader previously on the Portal, praising its lightweight approach to RSS feeds. The app has just seen a major update which has added the much needed ability to add custom RSS feeds, along with bringing a new Home UI and some major bug fixes.
